2015 AJC Peachtree Roadrace
When: July 4, 2015, 7:30 AM
Kick off your July 4th festivities with a great workout! In it's 46th year running, the Peachtree Roadrace is the largest 10K in the world and a beloved tradition for many Atlantans. Starting in Buckhead near Lenox Square Mall, the race extends along Peachtree Road and finishes in Piedmont Park. Check out the course map here.
Atlanta Heroes 6K

Where: Brook Run Park Dunwoody, GA
This unique run/walk through Brook Run Park of Dunwoody is presented by the Foundations Recovery Network of Atlanta and Roswell. The Heroes in Recovery movement raises awareness for and celebrates the heroic efforts of those suffering substance abuse and mental health issues to live clean and healthy each day. Through community engagement and the sharing of stories, the intention is to remove the social stigma that keeps those suffering from seeking help. Check out the course here.
Color Me Free 5K Color Run

Where: Jim R. Miller Park Marietta, GA
Get ready for a 5K like you've never experienced before! Prepare to be doused in colored paint through the course of the run while supporting a great cause. Georgia Cares strived to bring hope, build resilience, and give all children the opportunity to thrive. Celebrate your freedom and support the movement to free the victims of child sex trafficking in Georgia in the first annual Color Me Free 5K. Get your mind right for college football season by breaking out your college gear for this 5K! THEALUMRUN brings college and university alumni, students, and sports fans together to run, socialize, and celebrate their alma mater. Located at Turner Field, the event includes the options for younger fans to participate in a 1K or avid runners to choose a 10K over the 5K. The party doesn't stop at the finish line as there will be a post-race festival featuring food, live music, and fun.

Grab your sneakers and your pup to join you in this event benefitting Ahimsa House, a nonprofit helping people and pets escape domestic violence. The organization provides emergency services like pet safe housing, veterinary care,a 24-hour crisis line, outreach programs, and other services to help the human and animal victims of domestic violence reach safety together.
