Go ahead and plan your weekend accordingly!
Friday June 24
Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration
When/Where: 8pm, Chastain Park Amphitheatre, 4469 Stella Drive Atlanta, GA 30327
Price: Ticket Prices vary
Fight the temptation to stay home in your pajamas, pizza, and latest episode of Game of Thrones and spend your evening at Chastain Park Amphitheatre. Grab a date, bring your parents, tag along with friends- Garcia’s symphonic magic will (literally) be music to your ears.
Saturday June 25
Braves vs. Mets + Flo Rida
When/Where: 7:15pm, Turner Field, 755 Hank Aaron Dr SE Atlanta, GA 30315
Price: Game tickets start at $13, Flo Rida Field Pit Ticket $20, VIP Backstage Pass $250
Take your Saturday night to the Ted! I wish I could say “and watch the Bravos annihilate the New York Mets,” but we all (unfortunately) know that chance is slim to none. Even if our favorite team doesn’t take home the W, stick around and let Flo Rida lift your spirits (for free!).
Old Fourth Ward Park Arts Festival
When/Where: 10am-6pm, Old Fourth Ward Park, 592 N. Angier Ave. NE Atlanta, GA 30305

Celebrate the arts of this community rich in history at the newest park of Fulton County. Presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, you can taste local food vendors, listen to local bands, and shop around over 150 artists’ tents- photographers, sculptors, jewelers, fine painters, and metal craftsmen. Full of diverse art, this festival for artists by artists isn’t the basic carnival you run into on the side of the road.
The Wizard of Oz
When/Where: 2pm and 8pm, The Fox Theater, 660 Peachtree St. NE Atlanta, GA 30308
Price: Tickets start at $35
Beat the heat this weekend by treating yourself to a day (or night) at the fabulous Fox Theater. Not only is this a family friendly performance, but if you can’t make it to either of the shows Saturday, you can grab a seat Sunday to catch the show before it leaves town.
Sunday June 26
Art Gone Wild
When/Where: 10am-3pm, Zoo Atlanta, 800 Cherokee Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30315
