Atlanta is still in the range of affordability for the average millennial, according to a recent study by Bloomberg L.P.
The financial software and data company compared the median home value of the top 50 metropolitan areas to the median millennial income to calculate how much more they would have to make to be able to live in each city. Ranking 37 out of the 50 most expensive metropolitan areas, Atlanta remains one of the most affordable.
With a low median home value and costs for everyday necessities like groceries and parking, Atlanta is an attractive post-grad option for millennials with a median home value of $156,175 compared to the median millennial paycheck of $35,970.
