Our 7 Favorite Resale Shops in Georgia

If you missed out on spring cleaning, we got you covered! Before the new school year begins, before the season changes, and before the final days of summer arrive, do yourself a favor and clean out your closet. We like to stick to the 365 rule around here (if you don’t wear, see, or think about it within a year, it’s time to say goodbye) and we have found the best places in Georgia to bring your gems, oldies but goodies, and impulse purchases.

Our 7 favorite

B Chic Atlanta: If you need a knockout cocktail dress or some shoes that will make a statement, visit this contemporary designer hub and Lilly Pulitzer, J. Crew, Diane Von Furstenberg (just to name a few) will magically be in your closet for less than half of their retail price. On the other hand, don’t let your Prada sunglasses or Jimmy Choo’s sit in the back of your closet for the next decade- bring them by and see them on B Chic’s updated website.

Labels Resale Boutique: Hidden in the cutest, coziest English style cottage off Paces Ferry, this high end consignment store was voted “Best Consignment in Atlanta” five years in a row. Having 5 mini locations (the Dress House, the Shoe House, the Men’s Store, the Jewelry Store, and the Vinings Outlet) in addition to the “Main House,” if you need to get a David Yurman ring or Chanel purse off your hands, this is the place to do it.

Ecologie: Tucked away in Kennesaw, this family-run resale shop is the place to take your gently loved boho, feminine, vintage, and street style wardrobe. Not only do they take any label and will give you money according to the quality of the item and brand, but they also will take the time to help your build your closet with their hidden gems!

Cillies: Located across from the West Cobb Avenue, if you recently bought something that you can’t return and will never wear, look no further. As long as your pieces are still in recent style, it doesn’t matter if you bring in a pair of Ray Bans or a Banana Republic dress that doesn’t fit. Cillies will sort and purchase whatever part of the closet you are trying to purge- clothes, purses, shoes, accessories, and if they aren’t in need of what you want to get rid of, they will even donate it for you! Oh, and be sure to leave the hangers at home.

Alexis Suitcase: Although they pretty much consign everything from UGG to Versace, leave your Target and Old Navy play clothes at home. If you are looking to sell your beloved Celine instead of waiting for that beauty to find a new home, Alexis Suitcase does buy outright a short list of top of the notch designers.

Finders Keepers: If consigning is a normal way of life for you and your closet, get an account with Finders Keepers and rest knowing your unnecessary favorites are in the hands of the consignment gods of Georgia. Having been open since 1984, Finders Keepers Fashions has grown to become a Boutique and now sells both Menswear and Furniture.

Borrowing Magnolia: This may be the biggest game changer in the wedding industry to date! If you aren’t looking to pass it down or are just keeping it in that dry cleaned vacuum zipped box for sentimental reasons, help out future brides and sell or rent your wedding dress. Not only will you get paid for paying it forward, but you will also get to play a small piece in someone’s big day.

Closet clean-out is the perfect start to packing your home! Start your search today.
