Kenny Rogers Fails to Sell Sandy Spring Mansion for $3.7M via Curbed
Despite $950,000 price reduction in the fall, Kenny Rogers' Sandy Springs mansion was quietly taken off the market after a year. The Mediterranean estate's luxe amenities include a large solarium, basketball court, Roman spa, and large pool and cabana area with a swim up bar. It looks like no amount of star power or price reduction could aid in closing the deal on the $3.75 million dollar home. Check out the former listing here.

Major films including Allegiant, Captain America, and Mockingjay Part 2 are currently in production. Atlanta United FC: MLS's 2017 expansion team selects its name via Sports Illustrated
Sports Illustrated has leaked that Atlanta United is the name of the city's new soccer team. On July 7, the name will be officially introduced, along with the logo that’s said to feature a prominent ‘A’ and the club’s red, yellow/gold and black colors. Atlanta United make their debut in 2017 at the $1.4 billion stadium that is currently under construction across the street from the Georgia Dome.
Cobb Chamber of Commerce: We Really Do Like Millennials via Curbed
Senior Vice President of Economic Development for the Cobb Chamber of Commerce Brooks Mathis recently sat down with Metro Atlanta CEO to discuss the bright future of the county. The video sheds light on Mathis' game plan for growth which included desire for the area to be buzzing with "young people and millennials". He also has high hopes for area becoming a major center of business thanks to the imminent "most technologically advanced entertainment venue in the world" aka SunTrust Park and influx of high-tech, profitable jobs with Comcast.
Music Midtown Lineup Released via WSBTV
It's official- the 2015 Music Midtown lineup is here with Elton John, Drake, Van Halen, Sam Smith & Alice & Chains amongst the eclectic variety of headliners. The two day music festival will be September 18 and 19 at Piedmont Park. Tickets, including VIP and Super VIP packages, go on sale this Saturday at 10:00 AM. Check out the full lineup here.
